Its plastic 18-mm barrel body has a DC input, 3-wire NPN output wiring, normally closed contacts, and an M12 micro-connector connection. The thru-beam technology detects objects regardless of color, provides a sensing distance up to 60 m, and has good resistance to environments prone to particles such as dust and grime.
