This coat uses a fabric that combines the finest cashmere with sable (a black weasel). Sable is considered to be the softest of animal furs, including mink and fox. It enhances the softness and feel of the cashmere while providing the highest level of warmth inherent to animal fur.

●Condition●
There are white scuffs on the right chest (photo 3) and around the right shoulder (photo 4). There are also small white stains near the pocket and between the 3rd and 4th buttons (photo 5) and on the edge of the hem (photo 6). In addition, there are loose threads on the right sleeve (photo 7) and at the base of the vent (photo 8). The 3rd button is slightly loose.
There is a sense of wear and tear due to the item being vintage, but no other significant stains or damage are apparent.
